... there were miles of green pastures roaming with sheep, rainy damp weather, and geese honking whenever they please. The castle is beautiful. The pictures I have seen have not done this place justice. It holds a ton of character with its double moat, brick architecture, and spiraling staircases. I am getting to meet some wonderful people and they all seem to be saying the same thing: "we've been talking about this for the past year and a half, and it's finally happening". Everyone, including I, feel as if we are in some surreal dream. The village of Well is delightful and we all plan on toasting to our first night later this evening. Cate, Lauren and I were placed in the "New Wing" for housing, which is more of a typical dorm room, but we get access to our own bathroom which is a plus! I cannot wait to start classes and jump on a train to anywhere!
